Hi to everybody !!!
Thanks to many good guys from this nice company I decide to to make my first DIY installation.
I purchased the kit from www.vvme.com and I am very satisfied:good price (70$ incl. shipping to Greece) and fast delivery (3 days with DHL) the only thing to notice is that on their website they don't have 55W so I enail them.
Then I purcased from www.powerbulbs.com 1 set of H1 OSRAM NIGHT BREAKER and 1 set of PHILIPS SILVER VISION for turn signal lights and I get foe free 2 set of PHILIPS BLUE VISION W5W for daylight lights and plate number lights. This store
is PROFESSIONAL !!!
About the installation...(Greek way !!!)
Step 1:Make a nice "frappe" coffee and smoke a cigarette to avoid stress !!!
Step 2:Use a table next to the car so everything will be near to you !!!
Step 3:Remove the headlights with the known way but here I have to notice that the left one it has a small connector so be careful then remove the low beam covers to drill first than pass the HID bulb set the gasket and for extra waterproof use silicone on both sides and put to th side to let them dry.
Step 4:Smoke 1 more cigarette (Greek way!!!)
Step 5:If you want to replace other bulbs like I did this is the time to do it otherwise start to locate where to set the ballasts.I personal found other spots to set them without use the iron thing usually ballasts have and I tight them up with zip ties and also I use foam pad for vibrations.
Step 6:1 more smoke...!!!
Step 7:By now the silicone will be dry and you start to insert the HID bulb VERY CAREFUL and be sure that so far everything is on their position and seal. Now take each headlight (1 extra pair of hands will be excellent !!!) and connect all the connectors (I didn't check if everything works I was 100% sure !!!) and start set back the headlight (my personal opinion is easier than remove!) tight the screws and....DONE !!!
The result is PERFECT !!!

Notice:I don't see so big difference of changing the angle and on the last 2 nights of driving no one from the opposite cars seems to feel blind from me so I keep the same adjust.
Sorry about non taking photos but I forget my camera...

And 1 question:
After all by checking if everything works fine I noticed that  with all lights off when using the signal it works both high and low beam is that on our i30 correct ?

I finished...!!!!

Nice one KKOM. Maybe you needed another smoke before you checked the bulbs biggrin

Anyway, those Osrams aren't HID as I understand it... they are just brighter-than-your-average-bulb which is why I fitted mine.

With all the lights off, when the turn signal is operated, none of my lights illuminate. Some other cars I've had leave the small lights on, but not Fergie.

Hi,
I use for turn signal lights the silver vision from philips(http://www.powerbulbs.com/zoom.asp?image=1&prod=69) for high beam the night breaker from osram (http://www.powerbulbs.com/zoom.asp?image=1&prod=114) for low beam HID 55W 4300K from www.vvme.com and for the parking light the blue vision from philips (http://www.powerbulbs.com/zoom.asp?image=1&prod=31) and the same to the rear number plate lights.
I said that when I use the "signal" (flash) and not turn signal

Ok I see. Over here the signal is the turn, like "signalling to turn". You can see both myself and Dazz thought that  Embarrassed

Anyway, using my flash only hits the main (high) beam not the dipped beam
