Was looking for a video of this ...

This isn't it but you get the idea...

I like the sound of a nice V8 (But this sounds pretty good too...)

Have a look on youtube there is a few amatuer videos of his Pike's peak run.  Dazz I think in that video it still has the Nissan VQ engine in there.  He had to use it for testing and the first round of Formula D, as the adapter wasnt ready for the trick HKS gearbox.  Its all sweet now, he has had the Lambda engine for a while now.

The Lambda sounds a bit raspier and more metallic in my opinion.

p.s. why did my post say nuisance instead of n i s s a n?  weird

My mate told me that I just don't understand irony.

Which was ironic because we were at a bus stop at the time.

Standard GT-R vs Standard Genesis?  GT-R would annihilate it.  Rhys' Genesis would kill a standard GT-R fairly convincingly i think.  I think a 370Z would be a closer match for the Genesis, from what I've seen I think the Z is a little quicker and sharper.  Genesis standard is set up for seppo tastes in suspension - ie marshmallow.

If they were both on sale in Aus and my missus wouldnt murder me for buying one - I'd personally pick the Genesis over the Zed.  I've seen quite a few instances of late model Nissans pooing themselves in embarrassing ways.  Nissan used to be the king of bullet-proof drivetrains - but not anymore.  Looks like the Zed is quite a bit quicker than the Genesis tho - and even beats a V8 Mustang.  Sorry Daz I know you love the Tiida but I cant help but thinking the frogs have ruined the Nissan over-engineering of the past.

Some old-school Nissan over-engineering from NZ;  Standard VL RB30 Block and crank, aftermarket rods and pistons, standard RB26 Head casting, 1 huge turbo!
