Anything we can do to get it fixed, do we know where it's hosted, and if it's on a commercial basis. Are we able to contact The Driving God to help out?

I think we might have a similar problem to last July, which involved quite some work for the Driving Dog and R5E http://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php/topic,3403.msg32688.html#msg32688

It might not as bad as that. The issue seem to be that i30ownersclub.fyvie.org no longer has an A record defined in DNS. Seems like some of the addons use that as their path, rather than i30ownersclub.com.

Yes, that's definitely the problem. There is a workaround. Edit your hosts file and add this line to it 74.220.215.74 i30ownersclub.fyvie.org and save the file. All will be OK again then. Please note if using Vista or Windows 7 you must run notepad with administrator priveleges to be able to edit the file. Instructions here to save me some typing: http://www.windowsreference.com/windows-7/edit-hosts-file-in-windows-7-windows-vista/The path to hosts in windows is c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts or /etc/hosts in UNIX. In UNIX you'll need to make sure your resolver.conf is set to use hosts as well as DNS. I see smileys

Well found. Unfortunately we need it resolving at the host, ideally. I'll point Dave and Rob at your comment. Thanks for that, and good sleuthing

Indeed, Only the domain owner will be able to get a proper fix.

Sorry boys and girls that your smileys were missing. When the site was first set up some time back, it was done on a temporary domain I have first to test things with. A few days back, I changed some of the DNS settings of that temp site and the smileys broke. There was reference still in this forum's config that pointed the smileys to the address of the temp site, not i30ownersclub.com . I have now corrected this and you should see the smileys again.

No Prob. Lucky it was an easy fix as it was a stupid mistake! I don't tend to spend too much time checking in here these days, but if anyone sees any problems like this again, please PM me so I can try to fix it quickly.

My 100 Mbit line feels like a 15 year old modem connection... All other sites on the Internet works great but not this... The index page www.i30ownersclub.com works great but when i choose the forum then it is snail speed...

I don't know what the problems is. The forum runs super fast for me. And the smilies work fine My best guess is it is a browser cache problem.
