My partner picked up our i30slx 2.0 petrol yesterday (sky blue-would have liked continental silver but couldn't wait).

What a great little car! But then, I knew it would be from diligently trawling through this website for a month before we bought it.

Thank you for sharing your knowledge and, best of all, your ability to conduct informed debates in an intelligent manner. The petrol v diesel posts I read were a great example of this. I learned so much about diesel engines: fuel availability, economy, environmental issues such as filters etc etc.

Our questions about a car we were already very impressed with were answered and our choice was clear.

Well done i30 Owners Club! Can't wait to have another drive.....

Well done!
It wasn't until I saw my "eye candy", got inside, rode it, felt so reassuring & comfortable. Cheap to run too, that I truly fell in love with it..............

Hi Ravel, and a big [formal] welcome to our club.

I'm so pleased we helped in your decision making, but maybe less pleased you let your partner pick your i30 up icon_rolleyes

Anyway, welcome again and do feel free to join in the banter and general "feel good" we have here.

Cheers
