Would love to see your mate's 35k swords. Truly pieces of art those things.
Though I wonder why he would have needed such a thing sharpened. He hasn't been chopping bodies in half of late, has he?
I'll take some photos of them next time I'm there, swords are direct imported from the swordsmith in Japan and only 5 swords are made each year.

He uses and trains with them, bamboo and reed subjects are the practice dummies :D though if you're caught stealing from his house you can expect to never been seen again.

You should watch the "Lone Wolf with Cub" movies if you like slice & dice. My favorites.  :goodjob2:

I've got the whole series on DVD plus the collectors 28 book set :D

Plus a genuine set of highly illegal ( banned in Japan " and everywhere else " ) Kohga Ninja throwing stars :whistler:

I've ruined many dart boards with these little babies :D

Another movie you might like Phil if you prefer the traditional Samurai style movies is 13 Assassins ( similar to the original 47 Ronin ), Rurouni Kenshin is good too but with a much more fictional take.

If you cant find it I can always send it too you on a disc or usb, it needs to be played with VLC Player or similar as it's got an added srt file for the included English language.

It's not too big just depends on whether you can be bothered to upload or you have internet limits. Mine is unlimited, so I don't care how big it is. I'll try our library borrowing service, that's where I got the others from.  :whistler:

I doubt you will find it in any library, it was never released outside of Japan :)

It can be found on Pirate Bay but if you don't like using those sites then I can send to you, plus any of the other popular latest releases " and not yet released "

Can I upload to your google drive or does it not function that way? I don't use any cloud storage crap :)

After some searching it appears it was released in other countries though thankfully they kept it in the original language with subtitles so you might be able to find it in a library Phil.
:link: 13 Assassins (Official Movie Site) - Starring Kôji Yakusho, Takayuki Yamada and Yûsuke Iseya - Now On Demand EVERYWHERE,

As I mentioned earlier it's no problem to post a cheap usb drive in the mail it you'd like that and a few other movies with it :)

Good find :goodjob: disappointing that it's a English dubbed version though, voice overs totally ruin the movie :disapp:

After contemplating this matter for a few days a good friend in Norway suggested I use Filemail :link: Filemail.com - Send large files - fast, easy & secure can use web based or one of the downloadable app options which will send a link to the recipients email to which they can download the sent file from, free version sends up to 50gb and retains the file for 7 days :goodjob2:

I looked too and came up with a similar option, but as you said you "don't use any of that stuff" I didn't bother mentioning it. As the file donor, you have to create a profile, the recipients can't as it still requires a login of sorts and security would be an issue.

Depending on the material, it is a useful thing to have as long as losing it unexpectedly, doesn't cause any problems.

You can always send a passworded RAR to provide security and maximize the load efficiency, too.

No need to register or create a profile with Filemail Phil, I don't use any of the personal file sharing cloud storage programs as there is the security issues that come with that, Filemail is different in that respect as it doesn't have a permanent link between cloud and the senders system and it's only used for larger file transfer and not personal information.

Yes just a test 'coz if I ever need to transfer files, I'd like to know how long it will take, about 3 hours.

It all depends on your upload speed Phil as it's usually alot slower that download speed, the internet I'm using now at my GF's house ( Vivid Wireless ) is only 8mb upload speed but if I switch over to my Telstra 4G Advance mobile WiFi then my upload jumps to 25mb :)

Doesn't bother me as I'm on unlimited. The upload speed is atrocious, but I'm a patient person, it runs happily in the background. NBN arrives in July '15, will see what deals are on offer, but I can live with the  way it is, really. If I don't change, hoping for a further reduction.

NBN is better if you pay extra for their fastest service ( there are 3 or 4 levels ) but it's still not super fast and it's a disgusting rip off.

Many developing countries are already on 1gb transfer speed and we have to pay ridiculous amount for the archaic service and speed provided in Australia.

Sad to say, those not in the FTTP rollout will be getting yesterday's tech. In many cases though it could be way better than what's avaiable now.
