Does anyone have this?

Every now and again my MPG AVG will reset itself mid journey.

It also jumps up in MPG. Last night on the way home it jumped from 64MPG to an incredible 96MPG!

Now I am not worried about it at all as it soon settles down and the mileage (A&B) remain extent. I guess it is just a glitch.

If your car is 2012 or later (The GD Model) it is all too easy to depress the reset button on the steering wheel

That has happened to me now and again to be fair so perhaps all of these times have been accidental. Last night was different as it went to 96MPG and this was something that wouldn't have happened had I accidently reset it.

Are these the only symptoms you've noticed?
Does anything else reset?
No lack of power or anything?

I don't have a clue why it would be doing this. That's around 2 1/2 times further that normal if my calculations are correct. Very strange.

Once it had told me 96MPH it slowly went back to the AVG of 64.

Nothing else happened. Indeed, the miles to fill up didnt change.

Just a glitch I guess. I can live with it as the car is fantastic.

I have had a reading  999mpg in my old fd.

the ecu reads the info depending on a set of criteria and how the ecu interprets the info
