They can't call it Top Gear of course as the BBC own the title and format, though as it will have the same producer who created the format for the revamped series a few years back.

Will probably cost Amazon quite a bit of money to make the new series, the 'stars' won't be cheap as they have probably had a few offers from other companies. Amazon obviously want more people to sign up for their Prime service to compete with Netflix etc.

I already use Prime anyway so I'm sure I'll watch the things next year.  I assume Prime operates in Aussie land??

Will you be watching?? :)  I assume it will find its way onto the net anyway.

There is a TV group called Prime which services part of Australia, but I don't think it is tied up with Amazon in any way...

BUT, as you say, there will no doubt be an option to watch it online.

"Prime" is an Amazon subscription deal, giving you next-day delivery on purchases and includes a movie streaming service.

Had the 30 day trial over Xmas last year and found it useful at the time, tho I don't/won't make use of the flix service.

I've enjoyed the Top Gear antics over the years but I think the attraction has run its course,  at lesst for me.

I enjoyed watching Top Gear but wouldn't pay extra for it. I think the BBC's refreshed TG will be interesting. Chris Evans seems to be a bit of a Marmite character.

They use the 'either love it or hate it' adverts in England. Wonder if Vegemite use similar ?

Me, I can eat either but I can live without them quite easily. :)

Thanks, don't think they do... I quite like it except I tend to avoid salt ( even the reduced salt version too salty for my diet)
