I think I have mention this before......I use the re-usable pods and put in the coffee we like or if we ground our own blend up and use that in the pods....that way you are not restricted to what companies supplies.....
It would give the kids/grandkids something to do though.
You can reuse the standard ones.Peel the top bit off, refill with your choice of coffee and seal with alfoil.
You don't have to grind the coffee yourself. Just buy it from a supermarket or specialist supplier.
I think we have a grinder.
In my experience, "pods" and "capsules" are just different names for the same thing. Marketing speak.
