 A woman who was fined for parking her Smart car at right-angles to the kerb has won her year-long battle to have the decision rescinded.

Vanessa Price parked the city car in her home town of Stroud, Gloucestershire, in exactly the way recommended by the manufacturer.

Irresponsible of Smartcar to recommend this in the absence of compliant (side facing) reflectors.

It actually juts out from the other parked cars, it would force a cyclist to move further into the traffic line to get around it.  Plus if parked alone it would cause a driver to slow as they do not know what the vehicle is doing.
