Hi All,
I own a Hyundai i30 2013 model (40,000 kms).
I noticed this that my aircon is not working efficiently.
When I set it to 'LO' with full fan speed, it works normally for a while. But after the aircon has been on for 30 minutes or so, very little air comes out of the vents.
I can hear the fan at full speed but there is no air flow.
I checked all the vents. Nothing.

It doesn't matter whether I recirculate air of bring in fresh air. Does the same thing. This is particularly a problem during summer days.

The only solution I found is turning AC/FAN off and back on in 10-15 minutes.

I reported this to the dealer during the last service but they advised that there is no problem and the aircon is working as expected.

Has anyone had this issue before?

These types of problems are very frustrating aren't they. You shouldn't have to live with that. I recommend you call the 1800 customer care line and issist they help you to get it sorted.. It is adversely effecting you grandmother's health..  nudge nudge..

I suspect there is a developing obstruction in the condenser of the A/C due to frozen condensate.

There is only 1 way to sort this and that is to contact the Service Manager and inform him of the problem. Tell him that you will bring the car in to him the next time it happens, for HIM to personally check that it does in fact happen. Once he has confirmed a problem, he will have to have the car properly inspected for an AC fault.

It may be inconvenient for you, but it will be the only way to prove that thee is a problem that needs attention.

I suspect last time, they turned it on and it worked, so they said, couldn't find a fault.

Thank you guys.
I will go and see the local Hyundai on a hot afternoon and try to demonstrate this problem to them.
I have to say though,  Hyundai's post-sales service has a lot of room for improvement.

Their first conclusion is always 'this is wear-n-tear and hence not covered by warranty'.

Will update the post after my visit.

I was thinking of a "dirty" condenser but it didn't make any sense

The air is filtered. If the filter was obstructed, the flow would be slow all the time.

If I get it right, obstructive frozen condensate actually indicates that a/c works "better/cooler" than it should? that's not fair for HY...
