Difficult to get a garage when you are in terraced city living.

Anyway, you have to take it out and drive it now and again don't you  :P

Well impressed with the consumption on a bigger trip, filled up in Durham this morning and only used half a tank of fuel to Aberdeen with the car fully loaded

Took a pic when we stopped just South of Edinburgh, pretty impressive for a petrol AT :happydance:

What's a mile?   :undecided:
It's an old medieval - and ambiguous - measure of distance, Doggie. :goodjob:

A nautical mile isn't!!  It is very useful and well defined.

My bad.  I always had that problem in exams (RTFQ).  You would think I would have learnt by now.

However, I did ask for clarification on what mile he wanted to know, and he already knew the answer, so why ask it?  He must be an ex-copper, they always ask questions they know the answer to.  For example, "Do you know how fast you were going?" or "Didn't you see me there?" or "Do you know how old that young lady is?"

Golden rule.
Never ask a question that you don't know the answer to.

WRONG!!  The correct answer to the question is:  YES.

But he reckons he was going slower than that!!

Almost four weeks (yes 4!!!) since I last got the car washed, it has been wet all this week until yesterday when I got out to give Neptune a much needed (although the colour of her doesn't really show much grime :goodjob:) bath and brush up.

Got myself a box of Autobrite Direct goodies, 250ml bottles of shampoo, berry scent wheel cleaner (dllute to 2.5l), citrus APC (dliute to 2.5l), crystal glass cleaner (the best I have ever used), tyre and exterior trim dressing, leather cleaner/conditioner, upholstery cleaner, PinkSheen interior plastic dressing, Cherry Glaze and Project 32 sealant along with a foam interior dressing applicator, foam tyre dressing applicator, window microfibre and three normal microfibres, special deal saw me nab it for £35 instead of £65 :happydance:

Washed, glazed and sealed the exterior yesterday and gave the interior a hoover and clean up with the products today, think the pix speak for themselves :goodjob:

As the light changed last night I was really pleased with the sheen from the sealant

An edit in SnapSeed really shows the quality of the reflection

Rain has just started after getting the interior done, gives me a chance to assess the beading of the P32 sealant

And finally as you know I am usually not keen on interior plastic dressings, however I had seen this stuff being used and was impressed so was happy to try it on the Cee'd, makes a good job

Looks quite stunning though. Good job.

Yesterday was a horrible day weatherwise and I had to go drive about resulting in a rather mucky motor when the sun came out this morning.  Out with the cloths and goodies then, car pre-washed with AutoFinesse Avalanche snowfoam, rinsed, 2 bucket wash with Autobrite Direct Purple Velvet shampoo, rinsed, wheels cleaned with Autobrite Direct Very Berry cleaner, rinsed, car dried, Autobrite Direct Cherry Glaze applied, cured and buffed, Meguiars NXT V2 applied, cured and buffed, final body detail with Autobrite Direct Project 32, wheels treated to Poorboys Alloy Wheel Sealant.  Good days work!
