The other day i jumped in the car and the a/c wouldnt turn on. Theres no air going through the vents at all, i've checked the fuses and they all look fine, checked the filters behind glove box they also looked fine, serpentine belt is fine, clutch is engaging. Any ideas?

Do you get air when the air cond is switched off ?
Can you hear the interior fan at all ?
Does any air come through the front window demister vents, when selected?

Welcome stoul1 .. How old is your car.. What year and model?  (assume you still have warranty??)

I just had a look at ours, 2l petrol manual, I cannot find a sight glass to see the liquid flowing. But it does have the low pressure switch just below the throttle/ cruise control box. If you are low on gas, it tells the electronic clutch in the compressor to disengage to prevent damage. Are the aluminium pipes in the engine bay hot and cold? This could show signs of the gas being low.

Welcome to the forum...

To me it sound like there's no air coming out from the vent's. If that's the case I guess you wouldn't be able to determin if the A/C is working.

First problem is to get the air flowing. Can you get air if you turn the fan up to 4 (or MAX if you have auto A/C)..   That is where the current to the fan does not go through a resistor. If not working at 4, then check fuse for cabin fan.
If fuse is ok, check if there's 12 volt at the fuse.

It could be the ground connection for the cabin fan, but not likely if everything else is working in the car, as groundpoints are often shared by several parts.

Even better; you have warranty, and then it's of to the dealer..
