CRDi economy barely affected by aircon and/or extra weight

Have recently been carting house bricks around in the back of my i30 (up to about 70 at a time) and even with the aircon running I am hardly noticing an increase in fuel usage.

Because of the diesel torque she seems to cope really well with the extra load and because you don't really have to accelerate any harder to keep moving I have only notice about .1 L/100km difference (another reason to go for the diesel) :mrgreen:
  • 2021 MG PHEV ( had 4 x i30 plus a Getz an Elantra and a Tucson)

I'm making a big brick path out of 2nd hand bricks and put in an advert to buy some 'caus I didn't have enough. Getting lots for nix....
