Plonking this here - probably be of interest to some members - and doen't quite fall into 'Random Vids and Pics' as much as DIY turbojets do 

But doesn't really fall into looking after/modifying i30 section either.

Found this ages back - FreeEMS - open-source engine management system (i.e. ECU) part of DIYEFI.org

In other words how to make it and code to run it, etc. - project still seems to be active.
