Up around 7am, bedtime is usually between 10 and 10.30pm, sleep time is not usually much before midnight though :winker: :whistler: :whistler:

Blighmy Brian, takes you a long time to drink your Horlicks doesn't......

Yep, I have a mug which holds 1.75L (just realised that is bigger than most of our cars  ).  Takes a whole kettle of water on it's own, Kim can't lift it when it's full

BTW;  It's plain old breakfast tea for me too after a glass of apple or breakfast juice

Okay, I also usually drink a cup of tea before drinking a coffee, but that's like 1 min before, sometimes after. But definitely need to drink at least some water before drinking the coffee. So the coffee is not literally the first thing, but I could live without that cup of tea, but "not" without coffee. If I don't drink it, I get a headache in 1 hour and can't get rid of it for quite some time.

But what I find interesting is the fact, that a lot of you do breakfast in the morning. My first meal is (if I wake up at 6:20am) at 9-11 am. But a lot of times it happens, that I don't have time for breakfast and don't eat anything before the lunch (2-4pm)

Trish and I often have three (instant) coffees each, when we first get up in the morning..(over the first hour/hour and a half we are up ..)  :D

Trish and I can have quite a bit of caffiene before we go to bed without it keeping us awake too... :winker:

All right, let's find out what method you prefer to stick to in order to brew your lovely coffee.
I see that Dazz's one is an instant coffee.
Mine is geyser type coffee maker (I used to brew it with Espresso coffee maker before it broke down).

Interesting..

Okay, if I have enough time I make/drink so called "Turkish coffee" (it's called like that here and different elsewhere I guess) - I drink it "black" (no milk) or with just little milk. Depends on my mood I guess. But, if I'm in a hurry, I make myself an espresso (I'm pretty sure you all know that one) with a coffee/espresso machine.

Hm..maybe, but haven't heard that expression yet myself. We call it "džezva" or I've read somewhere, that in English, it's written "Cezve" and we also call it "ibrik".

They can look "normal" as these or something like this or even this. Have all 3 of them.

db08: AHAHAHAH  Wanted to say count me in, but luckily, watched the entire video

Yes, this is what is called Turka in Russia. As far as I remember well this sort of plot is placed in a hot sand in Turkey to brew a real coffee. So our Turkish friends may confirm or bust my sentence.

Monday: It depends (usually between 5.50am till 7.00am)
Tuesday-Friday: 5.40am
Saturday, Sunday:  no rule (from 7am to 10am usually)

First thing in the morning? Convincing myself that I need to get up... Normally 20 minutes between alarm clock ringing and me driving off to work (including breakfast). And NO coffee for me, thank you!  :D

Monday to Friday my alarm goes off at 7 and I get out of bed at 7.10 after the news.  After a shower, tidying up the kitchen after my son's midnight snack attack  and having breakfast, I'm out the door just after 8.  At work by 8.30 or there abouts.  :(

Weekends I sleep in until about 8.30.  :happydance:

Most nights I'm in bed around 11.

Mon-Fri: Alarm goes off at 5.15am, I'm normally in the car by 5.30am, and then I spend the next 50-55min to wake up

Arriving work - I'll turn on the PC, make myself a cup of TEA and start reading emails while I'm having breakfast that I prepared before I left the house the same morning....

Getting to bed: always to late  :fum:

I don't think I could confidently rely on that..  :sweating:

The way they are changing the roads around the country.. I have a late model Garmin GPS with the latest maps  :whistler: :winker: BUT I still had the GPS lady getting lost every now and then in Brisbane and Adelaide "recalculating" where the road had been realigned etc...
