Red flagged race + knowing the winner...  :undecided:

The race was run in 2 parts....The first was red flagged and ended up counting for nought other than deciding the grid positions for part 2.
Part 2 was a standalone race which ran from flag to flag, this is the one Jackass won!!!  :happydance:

***Spoiler alert for those yet to watch the race...

+ finally had my car's windscreen changed (took an hour only and cost me 22k rub=300Euro for a screen and 2500rub=35Euro for a work)
- something left two dents on the top of my car with a damage to paint - more expenses looming ahead  :scared:

Will be quiet for a couple of weeks.  Flying from Canberra to Brisvegas on Monday, couple of weeks on ye olde Gold Coast for a family wedding and to  warm up a bit.  I have requested an i30 rental car at Brisvegas Airport, will wait and see. :whistler:

- A chilly 6 degrees here, which makes doing laundry a chore :(
+- We had a good 14mm of rain here last night, but we are only on 291mm for the year (yearly average is ~1100mm) so things are pretty dry

+ Waiting for our room to be allocated we reacquainted ourselves with Marina Square, a shopping and dining complex next to the Mandarin Oriental. We went relatively downscale at the food court and ordered fried dumplings from a non-English speaking Chinese kitchen, 10 for $6. After 6 months in Indonesia, that and the view of Marina Bay at our table made it very much a highlight. For those nearby, it's the last counter on the right as you go in, facing the bay, on the fairly new 4th floor. :victory:

- Elena only wants to do dumplings once a day.

If you want to ride a little further the Ferguson Falls Café (just before Bunbury) is also very nice, you can have a look at the quirky Nomesville near there.

The Balingup to Nannup tourist drive is beautiful to see if you haven't done it, exceptional ride on a bike  :goodjob2:
