from Pinjarra north to North Dandalup, east to Dwellingup, then west back to Pinjarra.   :)
A nice ride or drive that is :goodjob2: the Blue Wren Café in Dwellingup is another worthy stop next time your up that way Dave.

Yes, went there last time.   :goodjob:
If you want to ride a little further the Ferguson Falls Café (just before Bunbury) is also very nice, you can have a look at the quirky Nomesville near there.

The Balingup to Nannup tourist drive is beautiful to see if you haven't done it, exceptional ride on a bike  :goodjob2:

I know all those places/roads but haven't been there on a bike though.
The ride yesterday was with forum member Hati and his wife.  :)

Well done, Misha, congrats on passing :goodjob2:

- I got woken up at 6AM by someone testing loudspeakers on the field behind my house...turns out there is a boerewors competition on today

+ I had to be up at 7AM anyway to take a friend to the airport. She is flying home to visit her family for a few weeks (though not on an Airbus A380)

- Chores be waiting for me...

+ Decided to take the opportunity to vacuum Hippo as she is full of sand and dirt and mud :sweating:

Today I started my vacation with a 750km round trip to our capital to meet a priest for 30 minutes for organizing my daughters baptism.

On the bright side, I'm now on vacation, and I started it by greatly diminishing the bug population of central Sweden by the looks of my car!

Car also rolled over 25000km, should do at least another 15k this year.

With some quick negotiation concluded, the orders are being cut as we speak. On our return to Australia, we'll be taking up residence in Melbourne. I'm about to become a member of Headquarters Air Force Training Group starting January. :winker:

It can get cold and drizzly in the winter and sometimes very hot in the summer. Generally I prefer our weather on the North West Coast of Tasmania (less extremes)

You need to go a bit further north in Australia to get warmer/ drier conditions.

Melbourne is dubbed Australia's cultural, culinary and sporting capital, so it's the perfect place to base our foreign students to showcase Australia's diversity. Oh, and there's the small matter of my being born and bred Melbourne. :D

Don't apologise, Phil. Although we don't drink any more, our Adelaide cellar is still loaded with Coonawarra reds. With 4 rental properties and a son in SA, we won't be strangers. :victory:

Hmm, July must be winter Down Under and yet the temperatures for July shows an average of 8ºC  nights and 15ºC day. And you complain about the weather..??   :P :P :P

Melbourne is renowned for its rain.   :)

Yet we get less rain than Sydney...  :D

Yes, I do believe you do.
But the reputation is still probably well-deserved.

You might get sunshine for the Boxing Day Test, but for at least 345 days a year Melbourne is a bitter, cold, windy, depressing wasteland. If Melbourne's weather is schizophrenic, Sydney's is close to Australia's best. For nine months a year it's warm or better, and bar the unfortunate, rainy summer of 2011/12, it's a cloudless blue-sky paradise.
