Can you update yourself or does it have to been done at a dealer ? Many Thanks.I'm fairly sure you'll have to have it done via the dealer, there's several versions of the PD head unit used between different countries so all would need their own specific software update.
What Daz said. Just look at the video above... Done on a Kona, using a beta version of AA.Forget what I said then :whistler: bonus if it only requires a phone update :goodjob2:
I would have thought as it mirrors what is on your phone it would just come via an update of the App on your phone? :undecided:

It does.
Started rolling out for many people 2 days ago.
Do you think Hyundai will eventually enable "wireless" AA/AC through our wireless chargers in the car?

That would be awesome wouldn't it. I was going to try the hack I read about somewhere with a wireless dongle and an additional app, but running out of time now. Probably only have her for 2 or 3 more weeks. :-[
You guys are lucky anyway.. Don't think they've even put AA into the Camry yet even though it is coming..
Option wasnt there for me yesterday even after clearing cache.Interesting. I installed it straight away which worked first time. I will test out the interface tonight cos I get my car today!
Could be a coincidence This morning phone patched Android to June 2019 patch level. Play store updated, Google play services updated and now I have the new version.

"Toyota says Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone mirroring tech is also able to be “retro-fitted” to certain models such as the new generation Corolla hatch and Camry sedan, but that will be at an extra cost.
Toyota Australia is yet to define how much the “retro-fitted” Apple Car Play and Android Auto update will cost on eligible cars."
So when its released for Camry at the end of the year then you can pay to get it added
If they want more than $100 (I've heard $500 mentioned) I will be telling them to shove it!

Get it negotiated into the contract of sale? Mazda knocked a further $350 off the purchase price for me as they "claimed" they didn't know how much it was going to cost for retrofit..
