This issue has no perceivable effect on the performance or reliability of the car. 2016 i30 SR owned by a family member. The green SET light sometimes appears when the car starts. As far as I know this light appears when cruise control target speed is being calibrated just before activation on the road. No other cruise control related indicators have appeared on startup but this one sometimes does. This repeated yet inconsistent occurence had been raised with Hyundai and a car service shop yet no solution had been found. Any ideas? I don’t personally care about this issue but the owner of the i30 expresses their infinite rage at this inconsequential little green light that appears for up to 30 seconds on startup and doesn’t reappear until the car is once again started. Any ideas?
