Title: Hot air driver side, cold air passenger side
Post by: papukai on February 16, 2019, 12:21:22
Hello, I'm new here.. I don't find answer to this question on Google, or this forum. Read this topic ( :link: Air conditioning. Hot air side driver and cold air side copilot. (https://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=46757.0))

So, I have 2010 Hyundai i30 diesel, and when setting air to maximum, hot air, only in driver side blows hot air, on passenger side cold. Litle bit warm, but not too much. When I set blow to front window and internal circulation, to front window blows hot air.

I changed radiator, but no changes. Ant Hyundai center they do diagnostics, nothing wrong they say.

Can anyone help, whats wrong? What I need to change?

Thanks.

"I changed radiator"  :faint:

Then I read some of the *** :head_knock:*** in the attached link  :faint: :scared: :faint: and now I understand.

Mate have a look for the air duct going to passenger side, follow it back to the heater box and find the obstruction.

This was also discussed on the Spanish forum. Indeed it was traced to the heater box.
