Hi, Newbie here. I recently purchased a 2009 Elantra Touring (Canadian Version) with extremely low mileage. Want to change out the Stock stereo with an Aftermarket Unit. Looking for the Wiring Diagram, preferably color wire codes.

Welcome Rage,
Nice to get another Canadian member. Several of our UK and Aussie members speak very highly of Canada and you guys had nothing to do with getting Trump Elected... :snigger:
I'm sure there is a wiring diagram on here somewhere for the FD, but a quick browse didn't find it. However if you browse the topics (particularly the top/pinned ones in this board) you mind find a link.

There is part of one in this thread..
:link: What is this? (https://www.i30ownersclub.com/forum/index.php?topic=44529.msg429023#msg429023)
and I've PM'd this member for help!

Thank you for this information. Yes, we Canadians love our UK and Aussie counterparts. Feeling sorry for our American buddies. Glad we had nothing to do with Trump's Presidency. Mind you, our Trudeau is not much better.

Thank you for this imformation. Although it is an extensive amount of information. What I am looking for is a description of the colored wires that plug into the stock radio. I believe the second image, from the images you sent, shows the different plug configurations. I am looking for what each number listed om the plug, what it refers to such as LF Speaker, Power, etc..
-
Bit hard to read on my phone but i thought first page had that info?
-
Thank you for your reply. I was able to blow up the image and unfortunately it only refers to the letters of the wires and what they mean, such as O = Orange.

Cheers! I'll tag David ( @mrexcitement ) and see if he can see anything else in the GDS that might help.
Or anyone else that might have some ideas?

I was able to work out all my wiring for my stereo upgrade from the info provided.
The first image just gives you the color wire abbreviations used in the rest of the images which detail all the connection colors and pin numbers
Also when i removed my stereo there is a sticker on the back that has all the connections listed and what they do.
There is no more info in regards to the i30 stereo in GDS i have provided all there is.
Cheers
