One of my phones is a Nokia C3-01 which is small and light, has a conventional keypad and a touch screen. It is my favourite.

My other phone is a Blackberry Curve which is good for texting.

Neither of them are supported by the Hyundai bluetooth.

Lightning really does strike twice................... :blubber:

If your phone is not on the compaibility list does not mean it will not work.

The list only shows phones that have been tested on the systems and operate ok.

Having access to every phone/revision level is a near impossible task.

I have a BB Bold 9700, so it won't work with the i30 BT. I'm not too worried as I just bought a new Navman GPS with BT and it works very well.

Wouldn't life be a lot simpler if there was one over all BT protocol. Sheeesh!! I had the same issue some years ago with a BMW I owned. Worked for me, but not the other half. (Different phones) BMW just shrugged their shoulders and said buy a new phone!!

That's the good thing about standards - there are so many to choose from

There is supposed to be. In the brochure that was resident in the crapper for months it listed all the Bluetooth protocols that the i30's radio complies with.

There's no point in having BT if every manufacturer of BT devices decide to implement "their" version of it.

My radio works well with iPhone 4S, HTC Desire and Motorola Milestone 2 Android phones.

I don't see a need for a USB cable other than to charge the iPhone.

Seems to work for me, but that could be down to the sharing which seems to have expired.

I'll update the link right now. Thanks for the heads-up

Two extra links have been added, as new files have been obtained from Mobis. However, they have a date-last-updated of Sep 2010, so gawd only knows why they are classified as "the latest"

My i30 1.6 90ps ecosport, diesel, 2010 is not compatible with apple iPhone 4 and now I have the iPhone 5 and of corse, don't work neither.

But last week I went in to my Hyundai dealer and I bought the new i30 Bluedrive 1.6 128 ps Diesel, with the business pack.( I'm still waiting)

I hope that now my iPhone 5 will work great.

(Sorry about my english)
