Hi all,
I am installing a dash camera and will be hardwiring using a supplied 3 wire hardwiring kit with fuse taps.
Just wondering what fuses others have tapped into for constant, accessory and a suitable ground location.
Cheers

The interior light fuse has constant feed, I wasn't prepared to risk shortening the vehicles battery life so went with a dashcam battery pack :link: BlackVue B-124X Battery Dash Cam Pack | DASH CAMS AUSTRALIA (https://dashcamsaustralia.com.au/shop/dashcams/blackvue/blackvue-b124x-battery/)
Battery is hard wired to the 25Amp wiper fuse (not constant) which feeds/charges the battery when the vehicle is running and when parked the battery pack feeds the camera.
On my GD there is a ground location screw that can be used just above the drivers kick panel, and another if you open the drivers door and remove the dash end/side panel.

In FD I took the dashcam power from foglight fuse. It was in fuse box next to drivers door. No risk running battery out and easy place to take powerwire inside A pillar seal up and inside headliner to to dashcam.
