I have been flat out this week, but on Tuesday (my Birthday) the new i40 arrived.

I have put a few hundred k's on her since then and am slowly getting used to the DCT Auto. It does some things that I'm not used to but I'll get there.

First impressions are that it is tighter than the old one. I'm assuming the old one didn't get the Australian tune. The DCT makes it feel like it is a rocket ship, though it does surprise when it tries to kick back on a hill and use the engine as a brake, Sometimes that's not what I want, It also won't crawl into the garage as slowly as the 6 speed.

I have noticed the tyres are a bit noisy on some surfaces too oh and the AM radio seems to have lost some reception.

But I'm currently getting 5.3/100

:goodjob2: Enjoy it mate, all the best. G

PS. have a think about the radio, AM should give the best overall reception.
