Title: The Future of Petrol Cars
Post by: AlanHo on November 10, 2015, 08:53:44
An interesting article on the direction petrol cars are heading and how they are already eating into diesel sales

Probably the popular way to go in the future unless there is an ecological paradigm in the future to upset the apple cart.

Question ?

Steam is a vey powerful force, as demonstrated by steam trains.

We know that Diesel pollutes, due to high temperatures in the combustion chamber creating Nitrous Oxide.
What happens if after combustion (milliseconds) a water injection is introduced both to cool the process and to generate steam. All quite easily controlled by electronics, I might add.

I remember as a child in the shower wrapping a sponge around the bar of soap and asking while it wasn't sold that way. I could have been a millionaire. Instead, I had to wait until now to convert my dollars to rupiah to become a trillionaire.

Well, I actually made a pocket out of a face washer like a pillow case with a flap and put the soap in, lasted for ages, too.

I didn't play with soap in the shower as a child, or adult.  :whistler:

Perhaps it was early sub conscious military preparation.

I'm no chemist - but I wonder whether Nox when dissolved in water produces nitric acid ?

Cars would thus be driving around spraying acid rain from their tailpipes......
