Title: US skydiver jumps without parachute into net from 25,000ft

American Luke Aikins has become the first person to jump from 25,000 ft (7,620m) without a parachute, landing safely in a net.

Mr Aikins - who has more than 18,000 jumps under his belt - fell dead centre into the 100x100ft net in Simi Valley, southern California.

During the two-minute fall aired live on Fox television, the 42-year-old reached the speed of 120mph (193km/h).

That was actually pretty awesome to watch.
He was a bit too close to the edge for my liking.
It could have gone horribly wrong.
As for the freefall wind, I think I get a similar experience when I ride my Honda CB400 naked.
That's the bike that's naked (no fairing), not me. Just to clarify.   :)

Thanks for the Video Jamie, That was amazing to watch. The 3rd time I watched it he nearly missed the target!  :sweating:

Oh, and Dave, what are you doing riding around at 150 mph...or are you referring to the wind coming out your backside after devouring a couple of cans of bake beans?  :undecided:
