Title: Aftermarket Head Unit Audio Problem i30 2012-13 Premium Factory Nav
Post by: infernity on October 13, 2021, 11:27:03
So I just payed to have a Pioneer DMHA4450BT and Vibe 5ch Amp installed in my Hyundai, only problem is the Headunit only plays music when the car is stopped, as soon as I accelerate the music stops and when I come to a stop it starts playing again :crazy2:

Does anyone have any ideas about WTH is going on.... Car sounds amazing but only when its parked :blubber:

That screams a loose connection to me. Check that everything is firmly plugged in!

An issue that will have to be sorted by the installers me thinks, possibly something like speed dependant auto volume adjust :undecided:

I just downloaded the manual for this head unit and it doesn't seem to have an SDVC input.

Does it exhibit this behaviour nomatter what the music source is (Android Auto, USB, Radio etc)?

Back to the installers, as suggested.

So I just took it for a Drive and the music is still playing on the Head Unit but no sound out of Speakers or Sub so I'm thinking this may be an Amplifier issue  :head_knock:

... or, as stated above, possibly a loose connection?

Systems all running was a loose or unconnected wire, the installer said that the hand brake wire couldn't be permanently grounded took him 10mins to diagnose and fix.

My Frankenstein Audio system is complete, HU Pioneer DMH4450bt, Kicker fronts, factory Rear, and a twin 10 Kenwood Subs in an opposed box, powered by a Vibe 1400w 5ch amp system is thumping :crazy1:
