FUEL prices will fall by about 6p a litre following Colonel Gaddafi’s death, the AA said yesterday.

Prices are set to tumble in the coming weeks as Libya’s oil production returns to normal in the wake of his overthrow.

And Coles and Woolies are doing 8c/litre discounts - giving us back just a small portion of what we spend at the supermarket.

if you take out a Coles comprehensive insurance policy you get a booklet of 12 cent discount vouchers & can add the shopping discount on top. 20cents per litre off with the two at moment. i'm going to insure with Coles.

Remember John the 8c will go back to 4c after xmas .. From what I've heard Coles insurance is cheap for the 1st year to get you on board (one of the big banks does the same thing) then expect some hefty premium increases going fwd..

But I guess you can swap again if it goes up..
