seems as if by indicating it gives vehicles joining the RIGHT just to barge on........... on matter what...

and you where in the 2 lane so he should have joined/stayed in lane 1 then moved to 2 when clear to do so...

now if you had hit each other you would have the evidence to put the blame 100% on that van driver..
