I was wondering if someone that will buy the i30 with the basic 5" screen (euro model)
can update it easily with this android i30 screen.

I have the gd i30 with  aftermarket android  and I am happy.
Was plug and play.

This screen looks better in design than the original 8" screen of the car.

Good find. Be an impressive upgrade for the 5" screen in some euro models. All Aussie delivered cars get an 8" screen.

Yes you are right, In my country the active i30 pd that is the basic model has the 5" screen and is a very basic screen.
The above 9" android screen is chinese and usually they have software canbus for all and could work as plug and play.

The second model that has the 8" screen and dual climate control costs 2000euro more than the  active.

Also the i30 fastback here in my country in the basic active model has this 5 inch screen and it costs 17.500euro.
If this android works in fastback then with 18.000euro can have a fastback with nice screen etc.

I haven't bought the item. I have i30 gd by the way not the pd.
You can ask the seller for more info or can search on net for same devices etc.

I just found the link and was the first time I saw pd aftermarket android and wanted to share it.
