Hi everyone,

Sorry for all the questions.

I'd like to upgrade the rear swaybar on my 2011 FD and would like to confirm the following swaybar will fit.

Looks like it's a USDM Elantra Touring 21mm bar:

I'd like to combine this with SuperPro HD endlinks (TRC10105 rear and TRC12160 front).

Unfortunately it doesn't look like SuperPro/Nolathane/Whiteline offer bushes to suit, so I'm wondering what my options are?

Thanks!

Not confident it will.

2007-10 USDM is a HD.

The Elantra Touring AKA FD i30CW 2009-12 is and the rear end in our market for hatch / wagon are the same bar the springs which are longer in the wagon.

If that did fit then I'd expect to see it in that models list of goodies but it's not

I think you need more info. If that bar is meant to look the same as OEM then I don't recognise it. Looking at the catalog I'm not sure what is what at the moment.

Whiteline do kits for the FD's :link: Whiteline Suspension Bushings suitable for HYUNDAI I30 FD (7/2007-2011)
That looks more like it, reading that other the image may be just an example and it's worded saying 21mm from Elantra Touring. So it may be right but also you'd want to check if 21mm was standard anyway.

Thanks for the info.

It's hard to say from how it's worded, because the USDM Elantra Touring appears to be an FD.

The standard rear swaybar on my car is tiny, probably 13-14mm. Does anyone know if an AUDM FD CW has a larger swaybar than this? Or perhaps the SR?

I'd be happy to get the Whiteline kit, but my mate has an adjustable Whiteline bar on the rear of his Cruze SRi and he's not overly impressed with fitment.

I had a 20mm diameter rear swaybar made and fitted to my FD many birthdays ago by Todd from Signature Swaybars, who have apparently relocated to Nowra NSW.
:link: Any suspension upgrades available?

An interesting read.

Hopefully they will still have the pattern for one.

I've been looking at the Whiteline BHR90XZ, and noticed the following:

Vehicle Applications
HYUNDAI ELANTRA HD(10/2006-6/2011)
HYUNDAI ELANTRA TOURING HD(7/2007-2010)
HYUNDAI I30 FD(7/2007-2011)

I guess that means the factory 21mm bar should fit!

With the cheapest shipping option it works out to be $237 AUD. Very tempting.
