I am looking at purchasing a 2012 Hyundai i30 SX Manual MY11 1.6L diesel in Australia for a family member.
Does anyone know if this has a timing belt or chain?

There's plenty of chat about this on the boards but unless I'm mistaken, only the 2.0L (2007/2008) models had the elastic band as a timing belt

Certainly here in the UK anyway.
