I have finished my $3 mod of the week.

Please see hijacked thread below for what was my issue

New 2015 Grill

In summary the plate holder for my i30 tourer is one and the same with the actual grill



Not to mention that the actual plate was misaligned with the holder




Replacing the grill for something that would highlight the chrome strips was not an option for the price and little value compared to what I already have.

The option instead, just buy chrome strips from ebay and then



I was not sure about adding the strip to the actual plate holder, I wanted to start a poll in the forum but as I was already in the process I simply decided to go for it. I have to admit that I liked the end result. What a shame I don't have a better picture.
