Hi,
After viewing the John Codogan video re gearboxes I realised that I was one of those that did not know what my gearbox actually was. i.e straight automatic or dual clutch. Having studied my car manual it only ever refers to the "6 speed automatic transaxle" gearbox but does not provide any further technical data.
Can anyone enlighten me as to which box is on a 2014 i30 CRDI active auto?

2014 was a 6 speed normal automatic, and a fine one at that.

My owners manual goes into a lot of detail about the DCT, so I guess it would be the same in your manual if one were fitted
