Have noticed the suspension struggles a bit when cornering on bad road surface (thats the norm where I live).

Not looking to reduce ride height just improve the handling.

Any suggestions on suspension improvements?

Any performance spring will reduce the height to some extent, 20mm drop front and rear with Eibach springs is about the smallest height reduction you'll find http://web2.carparts-cat.com/default.aspx?230=1&34=0,2047566&36=189&35=0&32=3784&14=4&10=4819B6FD0C5949ACA91EE9350FC6CCD8279001&12=130

If you were wanting to keep standard height then you'll be looking at paying for coil overs.

Retaining OEM ride height is prefered. At 55 I'm a bit old for the boy racer look

No doubt "coil overs" (need to search the interweb to understand what that is) will be very costly. Hey ho......

Yeah they're not cheap, aftermarket performance ones have more adjustability inc ride height.

If you call around some of your suspension shop over there someone might have an option to better the handling for you as well as retaining the standard height.
