Pretty minor, but thanks for sharing Gonz. Particulate filter for the petrol, sounds like a backward step... :undecided: (I realise it is probably necessary over there to meet new laws..)
-
Hmm, pretty pleased with what I have now, don't need no stinkin' particulate filters
I assume the red thing is the fastback version?

The red is the wagon.. here is the fastback (neither coming to Australia at this stage, except possibly N version of Fastback)

OK, thanks for that update Dazz.
I would have called that white fastback a sedan if I wasn't informed otherwise. :head_knock:

I don't think they do the Elantra sedan in Europe (I could be wrong) and the fastback is a hatch as far as I am aware, but there are certainly some similarities between the two. :crazy1:

I like the rear on the fastback. It reminds me of the new Mercedes Benz Commodore model :snigger:
-
Opel and Mercedes Benz.. easy to mix up.. :D

Gasoline particulate filter - how is that different to the existing fuel filter on petrol GD i30s?
-
A fuel filter is before combustion, just to ensure the fuel is clean. A gasoline (petrol) particulate filter is after combustion, as for a diesel particulate filter.

Would that mean the petrols would need to go for a nice highway drive too?
