Yesterday I have updated the interior doors of my i30 gd with little vinyl wrap in the bottom of the grey trim of the doors.

My i30 had so many scratches there. This part is very sensitive and easy to scratch. The paint color there is really very thin. Under this grey color it has shiny black surface by the way.

So I have bought this $5 matt vinyl wrap  150cmX30cm Car Matte Color Vinyl Film Wrap Sticker Decal Sale - Banggood.com  and install it easily using using a cutter and heat as mentioned in all video instruction about wrapping.

I send  here some images with the result. I have covered the scratches only on the bottom part of the trim till the electric window button.
Professional installer asked me $100 to do it (all the door and all parts) but I think is ok and now as bi tone for $5.







I have also bought and installed exterior shiny chrome wrapping and look ok too using this:

As can see in the image by adding a new layer of vinyl wrap
it shines again as new.

(It was not the original i30 chrome line for boot and the wrapping took me 5 minutes to do it.)

Neither here, this trim is from other models and I think it look ok and in i30

Thanks Chris. Nice job. I will make yhe same . My i30 suffers from scratches in these spots . Front doors and back.
