Hi,
I recently purchased i30 S 2015 and I noticed when I press the clutch sometimes my foot is hitting the steering wheel shaft.
Is there suppose to be a cover there or it is like this from the factory?

Looks like you have raised the floor mat, something underneath perhaps

That's normal for the steering column, my own big feet have never managed to come anywhere near it though

Thanks a lot ! I was worried a trim or cover is missing.
I added this rubber floor mat probably didn't help much. I have to adjust the seat as well maybe it is too close.

I'd recommend getting a fitted mat, then your heel will be on the floor properly and no worries of your toes touching the column
