A Marital Mystery
« May 07, 2021, 10:21:22 »
Our domestic bliss is enhanced by me accepting that my wife is always right – and I am always wrong. It avoids a lot of dissent.

Yesterday, over a trivial matter, I found myself saying  “yes dear, you are right”.

I then almost immediately thought (to myself of course) - hang on a bit – you just told her she was right. In which case, since your role is to be always wrong – were you actually right or wrong.?

This is a conundrum, wrapped in a mystery which is a worrying enigma….HELP!!!!!!

Alan, many find "yes dear" adequate without the addition of "you are right". Unless the right answer is "no dear". Keep alert!
