Hi there. I'm trying to work out which front shock absorbers but so far I'm struggling with the last bit to identify my model. Following a thread I found the code model for my car using  the VIN but in the last step I have four different models to chose from for the OEM that tells me the right shock absorber, and then is when I'm getting lost... Could you help me with this please?

The model name is a Model IRS61EC57 2009 if I'm right. And the VUN is TMADB51SLBJ129400. The four confusing options I don't know to pick are:

54650B   546512R100
STRUT ASSY-FR LH   1600 CC - U2> MANUAL T/M - 6 SPEED 2WD (225 TIRE - 225/45 R17, GRADE - GLS)   1   02.2009 - 09.2010

2.- 54650B   546512R200
STRUT ASSY-FR LH   SEDAN - 5DR 5P> 1600 CC - U2> MANUAL T/M - 6 SPEED 2WD (GRADE - GL)   1   02.2009 - 07.2009

3.- 54650B   546512R250
STRUT ASSY-FR LH   SEDAN - 5DR 5P> 1600 CC - U2 (GRADE - GL)   1   07.2009 - 09.2010

4.- 54650B   546512R450
STRUT ASSY-FR LH   1600 CC - U2> MANUAL T/M - 6 SPEED 2WD (225 TIRE - 225/45 R17, GRADE - GL)   1   09.2010 - 11.2010

I had bought a copule of KYB following the compatibilty chart of the dealer but when they arrived, they didn't fit and now I'm in the hazzle of sending them back and getting back my money as well... So I don't want to mess it up again  :sweating:

Any help would be very much appreciated!!! Thanks

Have you tried adding your VIN to the KYB online catalogue http://kyb-europe.com/catalogue.asp

I get two models come up using your VIN number, an 85kw and 66kw

Both models appear to use the same but you better check just to be sure

These ones are precisely the ones I bought, one reference is for the right side and the other one for the left... This is why I rather go to the exact OEM not to repeat the same mistake again... Thanks though

Btw any other maker you would recommend in reasonable prices? Thanks

I don't know if you get Monroe shocks over there, they're good if you can :undecided:

Wow!  Really impressive! Funny enough I brought it to a friend yesterday afternoon to take the old factory fitted one out and search for a stamped reference and...  You are exactly right!  These is the reference I need.  I found it through eBay this morning and bought it. Thanks so much for your support guys and the extra info you got for me!  :goodjob:
