wouldn't be taking to much attention to either of those sites,I looked up the 2001 accent 1.5 and the deisel manual,this site says the accent is almost a sec quicker,I know for fact that is bull hockey,the older accent is absolutely no match for the Deisel

You might be right, I found some other performance times on the Hyundai South Africa site which don't match what is listed in the above link ( makes my mods a little more substantial ), cant find diesel specs though

I don't know what Hippo's 0 - 60 time is but it isn't exactly a pocket rocket. My boss' i20 1.6 outruns mine up until about 140kph, but after that mine pulls strongly until the post-200 mark

My little X3 Excel used to be a quick little thing with the 1.5 DOHC motor with 76kw and close to 250kg lighter than the i30 it did take off pretty well.... Throw it on a hill and it was shit!
