I'm looking to upgrade my rear light bulbs to LED ones. I took the rear lenses out to check which bulbs were in there before I went ahead and spent loads on the wrong type and I can't work out why the tail lights are twin filament bulbs when they are only used for rear lights and not for the brake light as well and the brake light bulbs are single filament.

I wired mine up to be brake lights as well.

I am going to make my own led's but too cold to work in shed at the moment.
