CVT fix is a preventative, no known issues within Australia at this stage.

I was expecting some teething issues there with the redesign of the CVT's 1st gear and the extra torque of the new 2ltr.

DPF has been a real PITA for Toyota for quite a few years now. 6 years I know of.
My ex-work Coaster buses were always going into limp mode,  manual burn indicator didn't always work. Told, by Toyota dealer,  to stick to 3rd around town and rev that 4.0 l diesel hard -worked.
SIL's 2018 Hi-lux tripped limp 3 times already.
In one of John Codogan's "best ute" articles, stated Toyota DPF has major fault that they won't admit to.

They are having dust issues with the air filters on the Landcruiser too if my memory serves me correctly.

Not a good time to have issues, when the gap between them and the competition is narrowing.

I've heard Mazda has quite a few issues with their DPF's in some vehicles too.
