Hello, I'm in the UK

The wing mirrors on my 2018 i30 have stopped folding in. A squirt of WD40 fixed one temporarily. Despite being a legitimate warranty issue my local dealer is playing hard ball and even talking as if the repair could have a cost to me.

Any similar experiences or suggestions.

Suggestion: it's a warranty item.

Suggestion: play hard ball back.

Suggestion: ask them why they would consider it "wear and tear", which is the only real reason they could exploit the "no warranty fix" approach.

I have a 2019 model which I've had for a year and mine stopped folding just recently. I haven't been back to the dealer yet but do we know why/how it happens?
