Hi everyone,
So after a while from my registration here and saying hi, here is my i30.
Today it will turn 190.000km after getting back from work, because I do at least 80km per day on the route home-work-home.
I really enjoy the car, but unfortunately it has some problems. I've been replacing some things in order to get it as good as possible, but it's not easy to find parts here in Portugal so I've been buying stuff in Spain.
Here is a list of things to do in the car:
- Front interior door handles in bad shape - done!
I thought it would be difficult to change but YouTube was my friend and I found some videos explaining how to change.
- A/C ventilation working badly - done!
I was worried it would be the ventilator, but this forum helped me! Bought the cabin filter and replaced it.
- Right interior sun visor broken - done!
Bought the part from a spanish car scrap.
- Central armrest broken - done!

- Gearbox knob worn out - work in progress...
- Right front door glass scratched - work in progress...
- Rear tyres need to be replaced - work in progress...
- License plate light dimmed - work in progress...
- Interior front upper light works badly - work in progress...
- Front right wiper doesn't clean good, I guess the problem is the arm - work in progress...
- Exterior paint in bad shape with some scratches and worn out - work in progress...
- Fuel injector leaking, seems to be the o-ring - work in progress...
- Engine air filter case with broken supports - work in progress...
- Radio controls are kind of «wobbly» - work in progress...
