Hi all,
this is not an issue, not sure if it's the right section :whistler: ... just wondering if there is anyone who bought a new battery from Halfords UK ? any experience?
my car i30 2015 CRDI 1.6 Start/Stop
thanks!

I buy my batteries from batterygroup.com,generally exide but they have other brands, before that it was euro car parts but they are more expensive now, Halfords isn't that cheap I would have thought.

I have the same car and replaced the battery with a Yuasa in 2019 from GSF Car Parts, but bought via eBay. When it failed 4 months later I took it to the nearest branch where they tested it and arranged for a replacement to be sent under warranty. Having an actual store you can take it back to reasonably easily is a big plus, rather than having to arrange carriage back to an online-only store. I'd pay a bit extra for the convenience. The price for the Halfords AGM battery doesn't look too bad considering it has 5 year warranty

thanks guys for getting back to me :goodjob2:
other thing is that my battery has + terminal on left side and I spent hours trust me hours to find right battery and no luck.. any ideas ?
70AH AGM

The plus terminal on the left side rearward is normal.
-
its like that

if there is no 70AH AGM, will try to find 75
there should be a big deal, I think

did u have + terminal on the left side also?

Yes, if you're looking at it standing in front of the car. It's awkward to take the +ve terminal off, so unclip the cover of the air filter box allowing the rubber hose to be lifted high enough to lift the +ve terminal off the battery.
