Translation......
I have the same car as my parents a 2009 SLX 1.6 CRDi. I got it at a great price of $9500 because it was hail damaged.
In my manual it shows a 6 speed gear box. Is this real or do they sell and make a 6 speed? If so where? Is it faster than the 5 speed model? What are the gear ratios of both the 5 and 6 speed box's? I need travel at 180 kph in 100 kp/h zones because i like to be a danger on the roads
I also think it would be good to race on the track faster than the V8 supercars. (in my dreams).

I think he is an Aussie, or a Kiwi, talking perfect normal English
V8supercars is a racecar class out here 888 & ol Tommy Walkinshaw have V8 supercar teams here.
only problem is our speed limit is 65mph.
Cheers

Sometimes when I'm cruising at *** mph I reach for 7th gear. It would take it.

We have 6 speed 1.6crdi in Europe. Pictures may be taken from that.

There are several of us with the 6 speed box. To be honest its just another gear, it maybe adds 2mpg in fuel economy when driving on open roads and knocks a bit off the RPM (I forgot how much its posted in a thread somewhere). Its not that exciting otherwise.

Like I said before I still try to change up to 7th. Probably if I had 7 gears I'd like 8. Who knows.

we also have a VERY LOW highway speed limit... 100kph and if your lucky 110kph :(

even zimbabwe has a highway speed limit of 120... and the highways there are like our secondary roads, one lane each way right next to eachother!
it is a good thing tho... 99% of people here cant behave themselves on the roads... they dont deserve "higher speed limits"

there isnt much need for 6th here...

New CRDi U2 motors with manual transmission have 6 gears. I have i30CW 1.6CRDi and 6-gear manual that is 2011 year model. It is about 1600 RPM in 6th gear in 80km/h and 2100 RPM with 5th gear in the same speed.

Basically, if you are getting 2011 CRDi 1.6L model with manual transmission (Hyundai started producing them around April/May this year), you'll get 6 gears.

The gears are:
13,636
21,962
31,189
40,844
50,702
60,596

thats true but we have a slow maxium speed limit & hungry politicians , but the i30 is very low geared so the 6th would help as could cruise at 110 120kph 2,000 rev not more like 2,300rev

At least you don't experience how well the bugs stick on the front bumper at 160kph*.

Lorian I've tasted bugs at well over 160kph on a motorbike, i meet a group of bikers from GB i think they were merchant seamen, they hired some Ducati's i meet them at a road stop, they told me the weather was the best riding weather they had experienced but they saw more bugs in the first day riding here than they had seen in there life. we get a lot of bugs in summer!
cheers
