the tailights on my wifes hatch have  duel eliment globes top and bottom, but i have noticed that when lights are on, only the top globes light up for tails? and when you put brakes on" only the bottom globes light up? so if all 4 globes have duel eliments and the sockets are duel? why then dont all 4 globes come on for tailights when switched on and same process when you use the brakes? all 4 should light up? any ideas people? cheers

I can't speak for your model but if it's intentional, I can only imagine it caters for countries where brightness and function may vary according to their local design rules.
