What's next? checking up on all the 'add ons' in the service bay 'It turns out the A/C treatment dosent do much, unless you have mistreated the oil, there will be no sludge so the oil treatment is valueless etc etc.

I am a bit conflicted on all this. If ASIC starts actually protecting the people who provide the subsidy on new car prices (got to get them through the door to sell them the 14% finance, mag insurance, gap insurance etc etc) I might actually have to pay more for a car

That is SO like my last experience with Sunshine Motors.
1/ The car already has tint on the windows. Looks like your people screwed up. They normally remove it on your second hand cars so you can sell it again.
2/ I know electronic rust prevention doesn't work.
3/ I've just traded in a car that's 8 years old and you've complimented me on how clean and original it is inside. So why would I spend money on fabric protection?
