Is the indicator lamp socket the twist off type?

Have you had the cluster off at any time? I'm keen to know whether the indicator lamp socket is the twist off type, for easy upgrading to switchback white / amber LED DRL as posted in my ideas thread.
Right, now when we say cluster we're not talking instrument cluster?

Headlight , i just happen to have a smashed one to check if that's what you want.

So you've allowed me to confirm the contacts are part of the holder.
Now if I know the black bits will fit just like the the grey bit, I should have a project on my hands.  :happydance:

Without dimensons hard to tell. something tells me you'll be lucky if it does fit and even then it'll only be wedged

Yep, it's all down to that last bit. Some sites describing the same looking gear explicitly confirm vehicle compatibility, albeit Elantra Touring 2L, so I'm trying to be hopeful.
